Moscow Pact
An agreement between Nazi Germany and Communist Russia saying that they were not to fight each other. It also secretly held the plans for the partioning of Poland between the two powers.

The invasion of Poland
Hitler and Stalin carried out their agreement laid out in the Nazi-Soviet Non-aggression Pact by invading Poland. Hitler got the West and Stalin got the East. This act is considered as the real beggining of the second world war because Poland was supposed to be defended by Britain and France.
