Hitler's own special brand of the purges. After coming to power, Hitler ordered his black shirted SS to eliminate (in other words kill) all nazi opposition.

Northern China
The Long March
After coming into power with the help of the USSR and the small Chinese communist party, Chiang Kai-shek decided to get rid of his communist partners. He ordered troops to root out all of the communists, which lead the communists (lead by Mao Tse Tung) to flea to northern China. Mao lead his followers on a 9000 mile march to Northern China. On the way, 2/3 of Mao's followers died, only to be replaced by young villagers who joined them on their march.
