| After, the Germans failed to pay their reperations, France and Belgium occupied the resource rich Rurh region of Germany. There, they attempted to force the German workers to dig coal for them. The workers striked and the French were forced tp bring in their own workers. |

| This was an agreement between Russia and Germany stating that Russia was to get German steel and help rebuilding her armamnets in exchange for allowing Germany to secretly build armamnets in Russia instead of in Germany, where it was forbiden by the Treaty of Versailles. |
